Everett’s Archive / Legal

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 August 2026

Who operates this website

Everett’s Archive is operated by photographer Everett Miles, based in Northern Beaches, Sydney, Australia. Questions about privacy can be sent to everettsarchive@icloud.com.

Information handled

The information involved depends on how you use the website:

  • Enquiries: your name, email address, optional social handle, enquiry type, any nominated print and the message you send.
  • Print orders: your name, email, shipping and contact details, the print and size ordered, amount paid, Stripe references, and order, fulfilment and tracking information.
  • Website analytics: Google Analytics may process pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and interaction data about normal use of the website.
  • Website security: limited technical request information, such as an IP address and request timing, may be processed for rate limiting, fraud prevention, security and reliable delivery.
  • Direct contact: any information you choose to include when you email Everett’s Archive.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in a general enquiry unless it is genuinely necessary.

Why it is used

Personal information is used only where reasonably needed to:

  • respond to photography, print, collaboration and other enquiries;
  • create, process and fulfil print orders;
  • provide order support and record fulfilment or tracking updates;
  • understand aggregated website usage and performance so the website can be improved;
  • protect the website and its services from abuse, fraud and security incidents; and
  • maintain necessary business, transaction and legal records.

Payments

Card payments are completed on Stripe Checkout. Stripe collects and processes payment details under its own terms and privacy practices. Everett’s Archive receives payment status and transaction references needed to reconcile an order, but does not receive or store your complete card number or card security code.

Service providers

Limited information may be processed by providers that support the website and its transactions, including:

  • Stripe for checkout and payment processing;
  • Resend for delivery of website enquiries;
  • Hostinger for website hosting and persistent application data;
  • Cloudflare for image delivery and storage infrastructure; and
  • Google Analytics for aggregated website usage and performance analytics.

Links to Dropbox collections, Instagram, TikTok and other external websites take you to services operated by third parties. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave Everett’s Archive.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses limited, essential cookies where needed for secure functions, including protected administration and a customer’s secure order-confirmation link. Stripe may use its own cookies when you visit Stripe Checkout.

Everett’s Archive uses Google Analytics to understand website usage and performance. Google Analytics may process pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and interaction data, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Everett’s Archive uses the resulting aggregated analytics to improve the website.

Storage, security and overseas processing

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be retained for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including order, accounting, support and security records.

Some service providers operate internationally and may process or store information in jurisdictions outside Australia. The locations used can vary according to a provider’s infrastructure and service configuration. Those providers handle information under their own privacy and security terms.

Access, correction and complaints

To ask what personal information Everett’s Archive holds about you, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern, email everettsarchive@icloud.com. Please provide enough detail to identify the relevant enquiry or order. Reasonable steps will be taken to verify and respond to the request.

You can also find information about privacy rights and complaints through the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
