About / Photographer

Everett Miles

I'm Everett Miles, a photographer based on Sydney's Northern Beaches. I've been drawn to photography for as long as I can remember, but I only began taking it seriously recently. What began my photography journey was pretty simple: my dad wanted something to fill the blank walls at home. Not long after, a trip through Europe gave me a reason to take my camera everywhere, and photography quickly became much more than that. I photograph a bit of everything: streets, people, sports, landscapes and travel. Growing up around the Northern Beaches has helped shape this and the way I view the world: early sunrises, the ocean, long summer days and the everyday life happening between it all. But the coastline is only one part of what I enjoy photographing. Wherever I may be, I'm always looking for the moments and emotions that make ordinary life feel worth noticing. To me, Everett's Archive is more than a collection of photographs; it's an ongoing record of my life, the places I've been, the people I've seen and the way I viewed the world at that moment in time. So, while I may still be early in my photography journey, I'm constantly shooting, experimenting, editing and learning, and I hope to pursue photography professionally. Professional photography through sport or travel interests me, while keeping the freedom to photograph whatever catches my eye.

I'm always keen to shoot, collaborate, or try something new. For opportunities or enquiries, get in touch through the contact page.
